PAUL LAURITZ (1889-1976)

Paul Lauritz was born in Larvik, Norway & moved to Canada during his teens (ca 1905). He began his art career working as a commercial artist in Vancouver and Portland, Oregon & eventually settled in Los Angeles, CA. After moving to CA Lauritz established a small studio & began taking painting excursions (mostly throughout Mexico, California & Oregon). He also taught at the Chouinard and Otis Institutes.
