JOHN ANTHONY CONNER (1892-1971)Born in Franklin Grove, Il in 1892, a descendant of Susan B. Anthony and portraitist Gilbert Stuart. Following service in the U.S. Army during WWI, Conner married & moved to Los Angeles. John Anthony Conner was a resident of Eagle Rock and employed in the art departments of MGM and other movie studios. An Impressionist, Conner's work includes desert landscapes, portraits, and cowboy-Indian genre.
