Olive Barker (1885-1961)...Born: Chicago, IL

Studied: New York School of Fine and Applied Art

Member: California Water Color Society.

After moving to California in the early 1930s, Olive Barker studied with F. Tolles Chamberlin, Millard Sheets and Paul Sample. She began exhibiting her work at this time. Many of her paintings depict street scenes in the Los Angeles area.
